Curriculum Vitae

Matthias J. Rapp was born in 1967 in Schramberg/Black Forest. He studied business administration at WHU Koblenz, ESC Lyon and Manchester Business School; from 1992 to 1995 he earned his doctorate at WHU Koblenz. In July 2021, Matthias J. Rapp was appointed honorary professor by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU).

Matthias J. Rapp began his professional career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 1997, he moved to industry and has since served as Chief Financial Officer at several renowned companies, most recently as Chief Financial Officer for automotive supplier Webasto SE. Effective August 2013, Matthias J. Rapp was appointed to the Board of Management of TÜV SÜD AG, responsible for Finance and Controlling
